This will require setting up templates, developing a highly detailed People calendar with key milestones and deadlines, standardising key processes across all offices, and most importantly ensuring that services provided meet the needs of our people and their data, in alignment with the firm's data protection policies.  It is expected that this will involve the introduction of service level agreements to ensure timely and quality of service, with defined and agreed measures and that are reported regularly.  The incumbent will ensure the continuous review of all aspects of HR Operations to look for opportunities for automation, enhanced analytics and higher service levels.

The role holder will provide expert HR operations administration and advisory guidance and support across the firm and will have in-depth Employee Relations knowledge.  In partnership with the CPO, they will ensure that all HR team members involved in the provision of HR Operations services are operating to the same high standard, and that they are equipped with the right skills and knowledge to do this.  They will build networks, both internal and external to the firm, to understand trends, opportunities and data to continuously evolve their understanding of best practice HR Operations and the employee experience.

Working closely with the Reward and Benefits Manager, the role holder will be the firm’s HRIS superuser, responsible for management reporting, data analytics and insights for all key people systems and software.  For at least the first 18 months, they will be the HR lead in a major firmwide project to review all HR tech systems, and they will play a key part in other HR and change projects.

The role will initially have one direct report (HR Assistant) and will jointly line manage one HR Administrator.  Working closely with the HR Managers (Business Partner team), the role holder will also play a key role in the supervision, support and development of the team’s HR Officers.
